In Brazil, Reuters reports that hydrous ethanol stocks have fallen by a quarter, or 725 million liters, in just two weeks to 2.1 billion liters as of February 1, 5% less than February 1, 2017. Sales during the period were up more than 51% on the year at 1.36 billion liters. Total hydrous ethanol sales for the 2017/18 season through January was up 4% at 12.9 billion liters while overall production was up less than 2% at 14.72 billion liters.
