European Court of Justice says anti-dumping duties on Indonesian biodiesel must be dropped

In Luxembourg, Reuters reports that Indonesia has won its appeal against the European Commission regarding the legality of anti-dumping tariffs on its biodiesel with the European Court of Justice ruling that all AD duties—currently between 8.8% and 23.3%–must be eliminated as of March 16. Although an estimate was not given by the Indonesian biodiesel industry regarding how much more biodiesel could be exported to Europe following the court ruling that was in line with a World Trade Organization ruling earlier this year, it could be substantion.
