James Hay conducting total product review after biofuels lawsuit

March 23, 2018 |

In the United Kingdom, after dealing with the Elysian Fuels biofuel investment scheme and the legal dispute with HM Revenue and Customs around unpaid tax on biofuel scheme investments, James Hay is reviewing all of its older products.

James Hay chief executive Alastair Conway told Money Marketing, “We are doing a complete review of all our older products to make sure we look at anything we might want to run a different way, if we need to modernise a product, or if we need to remediate something that’s not quite right. Some of our older products were very much what the market demanded 10 years ago, but the danger of not going back and looking over them at some point is something then emerges that you can’t resolve.”
