Mexican court overturns injunction against 10% ethanol blending

In Mexico, Platts reports that a federal court overturned an injunction last week that had limited ethanol blending to 5.8% from the mandated 10% although the lead attorney fighting against the injunction said it could take days or weeks for the official court filing to be published. Although the ruling is in favor of higher blends, it is only part of the wide legal case that may take longer to resolve in order for the mandate to be implemented as planned.
