Thailand’s Energy Absolute ramping up Green Diesel production for Q1

July 9, 2018 |

In Thailand, the Bangkok Post reports that Energy Absolute expects to launch Green Diesel production by Q1 2019, starting with 40,000 liters per day and eventually ramping up to 800,000 liters per day, using palm oil as feedstock. Already 60% of the company’s revenues come from biodiesel production. As Green Diesel is more expensive that regular biodiesel, the company is working with the government in order to secure a subsidy that will make the fuel only a few cents per liter more expensive than PME.
