UNICA concerned China-US trade war could lead to US dumping its ethanol on NNE

In Brazil, Platts reports that UNICA is concerned the on-going trade war between the US and China will end up with the US dumping its ethanol on the Brazilian market. The US currently sends most of its 1 billion gallons of ethanol imports to Canada and Brazil but those volumes that would have gone to China, the third largest destination, could find itself in the north-northeast region of Brazil, displacing ethanol from the center-south region.
