Neste still confident about aviation biofuel despite Swiss setback

In Switzerland, Reuters reports that earlier this week Swiss authorities called off an aviation biofuel pilot project under development with Neste that would have supplied 1% of aviation fuel demand at Geneva Airport. Though the company is disappointed the project has fallen through, it is continuing to develop a similar project at Dallas airport while tests are ongoing or in planning with various airlines including Lufthansa, American Airlines and Boeing. It still strongly believes in aviation biofuels and is working to get more projects into its pipeline.
