Brazil’s ANP auction sees 993.6 million liters of biodiesel contracted

In Brazil, the national fuels agency ANP saw 993.6 million liters of biodiesel sold at its most recent auction worth a total of $597.5 million, sold for just under 60 cents per liter. A total of 38 producers offer more than 1 billion liters for sale at the two-day auction, nearly 98% of which carried the social fuel seal indicating that smallholder farmers had supplied feedstock. The fuel sold will be blended at 10% between September 1 and October 31.
