Croatian ambassador tells Malaysia to invest in PR if it wants to fix palm oil’s reputation

In Malaysia, Croatia’s ambassador to the country said that if Malaysia is serious about trying to change the hearts and minds of Europeans regarding the reputation of palm oil and its sustainability, then the government needs to invest in public relations in order to change the narrative. He said that blaming the EU countries for banning palm oil was the wrong approach because the clamor against using it as feedstock for biofuel came from the public based on what they’d read in the media, whether it be true or false.
