Nigerian manufacturing group gets Odo state support to expand into cassava ethanol and palm oil production

In Nigeria, the Odo state government has promised local manufacturing conglomerate Nosak Group support in securing land that will help the company expand its operations into oil palm plantations and palm oil manufacturing as well as cassava growing for ethanol feedstock. The company already produces industrial ethanol and recently toured China, Vietnam and Thailand to learn about ethanol production from cassava. It also already produces palm oil for cooking grown in Benin and marketed under its own label brand.
