Bangchak to boost biofuel production to 2.2 million liters per day by 2022

In Thailand, the Bangkok Post reports that as part of its push to invest in the bioeconomy, Bangchak will invest in expansion of its biodiesel and ethanol production to 2.2 million liters per day by 2022 compared to 1.83 million liters per day currently. The company said it expects the bio-based business to comprise 40% of its total revenue following those investments as well as investments in boosting biomass-based power to 1,000MW from the current 600MW it produces.
