Saudi Arabian investors to build $15 million, 45,000-ton biodiesel plant

In Saudi Arabia, Argaam reports that Jazan Energy and Development Co. will invest $15 million to build a biodiesel plant jointly with Delante Trading Corp. The construction set to begin in Q1 2019, the 45,000 metric ton per year facility should be online by Q2 2020. Edible oils and other feedstocks are expected for use in the facility that will be located in King Abdullah Economic City. The project will be built over four phases.
