Buenos Aires launches B100 bus trial

In Argentina, the first two buses to operate on B100 have begun operation in Buenos Aires as part of a pilot project that will be evaluated later in the year for possible expansion among other bus lines. The city is working on the project alongside the national government’s transportation ministry who estimates that using 100% biodiesel will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 80% compared to fossil diesel. Natural gas and electric buses will also be trialed and then the results among the three technologies will be compared to determined which is the best solution for the city.
