In Zimbabwe, local press reports that a state minister is calling for a dialogue between Green Fuels and the community where it operates to find a peaceful way to coexist without ongoing animosity between the two parties. The minister said the economic benefits for the region as a result of Green Fuel’s ethanol project are tangible, but also called on the company to allow local residents to farm on land that was not currently being used in an effort to ease tensions.
