Indonesian biodiesel association sees 2019 exports between 1 billion and 2 billion liters

May 2, 2019 |

In Indonesia, Reuters reports that the national biodiesel association sees a best-case scenario of 2 billion liters of biodiesel exports this year, compared to 1.78 billion liters last year, but a worst-case scenario is closer to 1 billion liters. The low end of the scale takes into consideration the legal challenges brought about by the European Union’s ban on palm oil-based biodiesel. The situation was looking up during Q1 when exports rose 78% on the year to 173.5 million liters.
