March ethanol exports jump 23% in March

In Washington, DTN reports that Renewable Fuels Association analysis of Commerce Department data shows March ethanol exports rose 23% in March compared to last year at 1.1 billion gallons with 47% of the volume going to Brazil. Brazil typically imports significant volumes of ethanol from the US during its interharvest crush season. Canada and India were the second and third main destinations following Brazil with a 36% uptick in undenatured ethanol exports while denatured fuel dropped by about 19%.
