Argentina increases prices for ethanol and biodiesel

In Argentina, Clarin newspaper reports that the energy and hydrocarbon sub-secretariat has increased the price of corn-based ethanol $485.87 per metric ton, an increase of 2.5% over May, while cane-based ethanol prices were increased by 2.8% to $519.46 per ton. Biodiesel prices were also increased by 2.5% to $679.4 per ton. The government changes the price of biofuel used for the domestic blending mandates on a monthly basis that varies depending on the price of feedstock.
