Norden embarks on second biofuel trial

In Denmark, World Maritime News reports that Norden confirmed via Danish social media that it was a launching a second biofuel trial with GoodFuels, this time on the 49,600 dwt tanker Nord Sustainable that left Latvia on its way to Algeria where it is expected to arrive on June 17. Nord Highlander, a handysize vessel, undertook the company’s first biofuel trial several months ago that confirmed switching to the second generation fuel was economically and environmentally sustainable.
