China and US to discuss ethanol at September face-to-face meeting

In China, Reuters that extensive negotiation between China and the US is expected to take place over the next month before the next round of face-to-face talks in September as the two countries look to break the trade deadlock, including specific discussions on opening the Chinese market up to US ethanol again. In person talks in Shanghai on Tuesday didn’t appear to make and progress, however, with the only result being the agreement to meet in September.
