August 29, 2019 |

In Washington state, Tidewater Transportation and Terminals inaugurated a $12.5 million ethanol unloading and storage site in Pasco to serve the Columbia and Snake River regions. The facility will be able to unload a 96-car train in 24 hours which used to take six days to do before the new automated facility was built. There are also two 65,000 barrel ethanol storage tanks. Construction began on the facility last summer and was built using almost entirely local contractors, crews and materials.
