Estonia may exempt military from biofuel blending mandate due to fuel concerns

In Estonia, national news agency ERR reports that the finance ministry has rejected the economic affairs ministry’s proposal to change Liquid Fuel Act, highlighting the finance minister’s concerns that using biofuel for military use wasn’t a good idea because of alleged problems with blended fuel. Biofuel blending is set to reach 10% from January 1 but the economic affairs ministry wants more flexibility in law so that the military services don’t have to blend biofuels.
