EIA says 2019 average run rate through mid-September was 93.8%

In Washington, DTN reports that Energy Information Administration data shows that through mid-September, ethanol production capacity was running at an average of 93.8%, while the June-September period saw an average run rate of 95.6%. As of January 1, installed production capacity was up 2% on the year, about 300 million gallons, at 1.1 million barrels per day, which is the figure that the EIA bases its run rate calculations upon. The main ethanol producing region in the Midwest saw its production jump 3% on the year in 2018 to 15.5 billion gallons.
