More than 200 European airports sign up to net zero 2050 plan

In Belgium, Airports Council International Europe says more than 200 airports have signed onto the association’s net zero by 2050 for the carbon emissions by 2050, announced in June. ACIEurope has more than 500 members but sees this milestone as an important one in response to the global climate emergency. This commitment came alongside a call for the entire aviation sector to develop a long-term joint ambition & vision towards a net zero carbon emissions air transport system.
