In Malaysia, the Sun newspaper reports that the country’s B20 mandate will roll out over time rather than all at once, kicking off in Langkawi in January. Infrastructure to store the higher blend is currently under construction which will also include facilities for B30 to ease its implementation when it comes into effect down the road. The primary industries minister said that national palm oil board has teamed with six national universities on a 2.5 year project researching the impact of B30 on lower quality engines running on Euro4 diesel and below.
