Atmospheric CO2 levels have hit, er, stratospheric levels. The levels measured today were last recorded in 3 million B.C., and given the global concern about climate impact, a major industry is in the process of being born — namely, the Carbon Reduction Industry. Afforestation, bioenergy with carbon capture and storage, and direct air capture of carbon dioxide have all received a good deal of attention and are the subject of public curiosity.
