Indonesia looking at 100% green renewable diesel production by 2022

In Indonesia, the Jakarta Globe newspaper reports that the government is seeking domestic and foreign investors alike to help boost renewable diesel production from palm oil with an eye on aviation biofuel as well. The secretary general of the National Energy Committee said the country is aiming for 100% green biodiesel production by 2022 that will be consumed domestically and won’t be available for export. Currently on 12% of the country’s refiners can produce biofuel.
