Ethanol stocks fall to two-year lows again despite rising production

In Washington, DTN reports that Energy Information Administration data shows that ethanol stocks fell last week to their lowest in two years, again, despite production continuing to increase over the past seven weeks. Ethanol stocks fell to 20.985 million barrels, 889,000 barrels lower than the week prior, with losses seen in all major regions including the Midwest where the majority of ethanol is produced, the first time in five weeks. Production, on the other hand, rose to the highest level since the week of August 23 at an average of 1.030 million bpd.
