Fiberight producing more biogas faster than expected

In Maine, local press reports that after delay upon delay, the Fiberight facility in Hampden finally began accepting organic waste in early November from the 100 communities it has contracts with and has begun to produce biogas, although the gas isn’t yet at high enough quality to sell it. The company is also now able to accept organic waste from other communities and waste haulers. Although it was take a long time to get the biogas up to spec, the company says it is producing more biogas and faster than it expected.
