White House economic advisor tapped to find RFS solution

In Washington, Bloomberg reports that five people have confirmed White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow has been charged with finding a solution to the biofuels deadlock to come up with a deal that will satisfy both farmers and oil refiners. Politicians from farm states have complained that the October 1 deal doesn’t do enough to compensate for the demand destruction caused by the Environmental Protection Agency’s approval of 31 hardship waivers for small refiners this past August.
