December 16, 2019 |

In the UK, Zero Waste Scotland announced it will invest £540,000 from its Circular Economy Investment Fund in Keenan Recycling, the largest organic waste recycling company in Scotland to help it with its new £1.7 million processing facility. The company collects waste food which will then be liquidized and supplied to nearby anaerobic digestion facilities as additional feedstock. The new center that aims to connect waste producers with collectors and biogas producers will be completed in March 2020.
