AT-Tuote teams with Neste on 95% bio-based industrial lubricant

In Finland, Finnish AT-Tuote is launching an environmentally-friendlier industrial lubricant AT Renewable Penetrating Lubricant internationally. This is the world’s first industrial lubricant with nearly 100% bio-based content. The product is based on a new formulation: 95% of its content is derived from renewable sources, Neste MY Renewable Isoalkane™ being the key component.

Thanks to its primarily bio-based content, AT Renewable Penetrating Lubricant has a significantly smaller carbon footprint than fossil alternatives. 95% of the content is also readily biodegradable. As the spray lubricant has carbon dioxide as a propellant, it is also safe to use because of extremely low VOC (volatile organic compounds) content and its non-flammable nature.
