Sierra Energy taps van Walsem as COO

In California, Sierra Energy has lured Johan van Walsem away from his role as COO of Lygos, and van Walsem will now serve as COO helping to oversee development and deployment of the FastOx gasification. van Walsem previously was a long-time VP for Manufacturing and Product Development at Metabolix, and also was part of the early-stage team at Joule.
