#3 Germany adhesives maker introduces biobased packaging tape

In Germany, a producer of adhesive tape for packaging and industrial applications has launched a compostable and renewable option dubbed monta biopack.

Initially targeted for floristry and horticulture, green ecommerce, and organic products, monta says its tape is about 90% renewable and biodegrades within months.

TÜV Austria gave the product its OK COMPOST INDUSTRIAL designation.
