Thailand to mandate sale of E20 and phase out E10 by September

In Thailand, the Bangkok Post newspaper reports that the government has decided to take the major step of making E20 the “fundamental fuel” by September, the first time a fundamental gasoline blend will be mandated for sale at all filling stations national, in an effort to help tackle air pollution problems that have been plaguing the country and especially the capital. Though the government recently began promoting E20, many filling stations don’t currently sell the fuel. At the same time, E10 will also be phased out in September. B20 is currently the fundamental fuel for diesel.
