Kansas Ethanol to install Whitefox’s ICE membrane dehydration system at Lyons plant

February 5, 2020 |

In Kansas, Biofuels International reports that Kansas Ethanol has chosen Whitefox’s ICE™ membrane dehydration system for its 77 million gallon per year Lyons facility, which will bring the technology’s total installed capacity to more than 100 million gallons annually across nine different facilities. Kansas Ethanol said it looked to the technology to help it reduce its carbon intensity, allowing it to access low carbon fuel markets like California, among other process efficiencies such as increasing production by 30,000 gallons per day.
