Estonia’s biofuel flexibility policy making its way through parliament

In Estonia, ERR news agency reports that legislation to increase the flexibility in the biofuel blending mandate is making progress in the parliament which is meant to give fuel retailers more freedom in when biofuels are blended to keep prices down at the pump. Domestic biomethane will also potentially be included in the new law that has seen several amendments added to the proposal. As much as 6% of domestic fuel consumption could come from biomethane by 2022.
