Farmers beginning to see Trump may choose oil over them

In Iowa, Agri Pulse reports that President Trump’s loyal farm community is beginning to question its loyalty with an Iowa farmer telling reporters clearly that if the administration doesn’t stand up to its promises to support agriculture and specifically ethanol in favor of the oil industry, that they will remember that slight at the polls in November. He referred to the Trump Administration’s efforts to potential repeal the recent US Court of Appeals ruling on small refinery exemptions as a “kick in the teeth” to the farm community.
