Nova Pangea Partners teams with JS Group on bagasse-based sugar and chemicals in Pakistan

In UK, Nova Pangea Partners will license its waste-to-biofuels technology to Pakistan’s JS Group in the company’s first international partnership. The planned facility in Pakistan will be developed together with Nova Pangea providing REFNOVA end-to-end fractionation process as well as a front end loading conceptual design package and co-located at a sugar mill. The project will use 25,000 metric tons of sugarcane bagasse annually as feedstock to produce sugars and chemicals, and then the companies will jointly market the technology to other mills in Pakistan.
