Indian oil marketing companies running out of storage to take more ethanol from mills

In India, the Business Standard reports that sugar mills’ fears of reduced demand for ethanol due to COVID-19 are already coming true as oil marketing companies fail to receive ethanol supplies as expected. With fuel demand low, OMC depots don’t have the storage to keep taking on more ethanol supplies but the Indian Sugar Mills Association has asked the OMCs to switch around storage at various depots so that mills can continue to supply during this time of crisis.
