Philippines domestic ethanol prices continue to rise to triple CIF price

In the Philippines, Platts reports that while ethanol prices in many other origins around the world are collapsing, ethanol prices in the Philippines rose more than 8% on the year during the first half of March to $1,280/cu m which was nearly 4% higher than during the last half of February. Domestic ethanol is typically twice that of landed imported ethanol but with US ethanol prices falling, that factor has risen to three with CIF Philippines at $440.26/cu m.
