Malaysia decides to halt roll out of B20 mandate due to COVID-19

In Malaysia, the Today newspaper reports that the national biodiesel association says the government is going to hold off on further implementation of the B20 mandate that was launched in January in some regions and was expected to be nationwide by mid-June 2021. Malaysia has been one of the hardest hit by COVID-19 pandemic in the Southeast Asian region, so the government wants to prioritize its response and flattening the curve rather than biodiesel blending.
