Vietnam looking at cutting environment taxes on E5 in wake of COVID-19

In Vietnam, the VN Express newspaper reports that the Ministry of Planning and Investment is looking at measures to help business hit by COVID-19. Among the list of tax breaks proposed is a cut to the current 16 cent per liter environment tax lobbed on E5 but they must still be approved by the national assembly and the national government. Taxes for those companies effected by the virus are also being given a five-month reprieve.
