Argentina exports to Europe dry up completely due to pandemic

In Argentina, Reuters reports that the country’s biodiesel exports have come to a screeching halt due to COVID-19. Despite trade spats with Europe, the region remains Argentina’s main export market that accounted for $775 million in revenue from 1 million metric tons of imports last year. Carbio, the biodiesel chamber, says that trade to Europe has stopped completely as demand from Europe shrinks while people stay home under quarantine orders to slow down the spread of the pandemic.
