RFA meeting with Trump and Biden campaigns in run up to November

In Washington, Reuters reports that the Renewable Fuels Association is meeting with both the Trump and Biden campaigns in an effort to make sure that biofuel issues were well understood by both presidential candidates. Concerns about how the Environmental Protection Agency issues small refinery exemptions and how to replace “missing gallons” due to previous SREs are key issues to be fixed by the next administration along with support for the industry that has suffered significantly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
