New Scottish Bioeconomy Cluster Builder seeks to bring more than 100 start-ups to market

In the UK, Insider Magazine reports Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre (IBioIC) has launched an GBP8 million Bioeconomy Cluster Builder together with the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) in an effort to bring to market more than 100 Scottish bioeconomy start-ups over the next three years. The six value chains the cluster builder will focus on are whisky co-products, marine biomass, agricultural biomass, municipal solid wastes and food processing by-products and waste, forestry biomass and carbon capture.
