July 23, 2020 |

In Indonesia, Reuters reports Pertamina is preparing to test its 3% palm oil-based jet fuel by the end of the year as part of its wider push to increase palm oil fuel production in line with the government’s policy. The palm oil will be co-refined with fossil fuel to produce the greener jet fuel at Pertamina’s Cilacap refinery. The company is developing two biorefineries, one at Cilacap and the other at Plaju to produce palm oil-based transportation and aviation biofuel.
