Indonesia hopes to get B40 in place for July 2021

In Indonesia, Reuters reports that fossil fuel prices have recovered significantly enough from the COVID-19 pandemic that it is again looking at implementing B40 in July 2021. Low crude oil prices had weighed on the economic viability of increasing the blending level from the current 30% despite subsidies, but now prices are recovering sufficiently to give the government hope that over the next year the market will be ready for the higher biodiesel blending mandate.
