Brazilian June hydrous ethanol sales up 5% on May

In Brazil, Platts reports ANP data shows June hydrous ethanol sales fell nearly 23% on the year at 1.33 billion liters but it was 5% higher than May, indicating slow recovery to the fuel market following three months of social isolation. Even with hydrous sales increasing, E100’s share of the otto cycle fuel market fell to 25.6% in June from 26.2% in May, a fact which has stumped producers and distributors who can find no driver for the shift in market share.
