Nigeria signs MOU with Israeli methanol company for local production

In Nigeria, Core TV news reports the Federal Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the DOR Group of Israel for the production of methanol in Nigeria with an aim to replace kerosene as cooking fuel. The agreement follows an earlier cooperation agreement between Nigeria and Israel signed in June. Dor chemicals is the leading supplier of methanol in Israel, with 40 years’ experience in the field. The company’s technology focuses on the use of natural gas as methanol feedstock.
