Power outage at Chicago Argo unlikely to impact market heavily

In Illinois, Platts reports that electricity at the Chicago Argo Kinder Morgan ethanol terminal was knocked out on Monday following severe weather, but the company said it is operating on a backup generator. Expectations of the impact on the market was mixed, with some believing there would be no impact while others said there was already some increase in rail car prices. Nearly 7,000 people in the Chicago area including the Argo terminal were left without power.
